The Andruino App offers a comprehensive solution for managing both wired and wireless home sensors using iPhones. By utilizing an Arduino open-source electronics prototyping platform, users can effortlessly control various home aspects by simply connecting their Arduino board to an Ethernet plug.

Noteworthy is the app's drag-and-drop interface, which allows users to place sensors and controls directly onto a virtual map of their home. This feature streamlines setup and enhances user experience through zero configurations required for routers in client mode. Additionally, Andruino can operate in server mode, enabling direct communication between the iPhone and the Arduino boards.

The Andruino App supports a wide range of functionalities, including:

 <li>Real-time monitoring of room temperatures (C°/K°), power consumption of lights and plugs (Watts), kitchen humidity (%), open doors, and other relevant home data.</li>
 <li>Control over relays, PWM outputs, and the capacity to generate pulses.</li>
 <li>Storage of sensor behavior data in a database with graphical representation.</li>
</ul>

Customization options are extensive:
<ul>
 <li>Functional without an internet connection in direct mode (LAN or via access point).</li>
 <li>Capability to work through mobile networks (3G/4G).</li>
 <li>User-uploaded home maps can be resized and modified as needed.</li>
 <li>Management of multiple Arduino boards simultaneously through the Andruino Ambients feature, including those connected to different networks.</li>
 <li>Support for Wi-Fi wireless modules.</li>
 <li>Extensive sensor configuration options: measurement units, mathematical formulas, and decimal placement can be customized according to sensor specifications. There are no limits on the number of sensors or controls, both wired and wireless.</li>

The app is equipped with input event features that trigger visual alarms, push notifications, and output activations based on set low and high limits. Real-time push notifications ensure users are alerted when an event occurs or a limit is reached—even when the app is closed—providing critical sensor details directly on the iPhone.

Additional features include:

 <li>Power-up and power-down notifications.</li>
 <li>Digital outputs triggered by variable resource limits—ideal for activating relays based on specific measurements.</li>
 <li>A sophisticated graphing functionality for sensor data, supplying average, maximum, and minimum values as well as trends for selected time frames.</li>
 <li>Configurable timers for output pins that allow scheduling operations at specified times with adjustable duration—managed by the internal Arduino oscillator without requiring a real-time clock (RTC).</li>
 <li>Predefined settings for common sensors like DHT22 and Dallas DS18B20 to simplify connection and setup processes.</li>
 <li>You can exchange data using HTTP POST in JSON format with secure access restrictions enforced by username and password authentication.</li>
</ul>

Supported Arduino boards include:
<ul>
 <li>Arduino Mega 2560 or compatible models</li>
 <li>ESP8266 as a Wi-Fi shield</li>
 <li>NodeMCU standalone board (32-bit MCU with integrated Wi-Fi)</li>
 <li>SonOff standalone boards such as basic SonOff, TH10, S20</li>
 <li>Nucleo 64/Nucleo32 - (32-bit ARM STM32 MCU; highly recommended)</li>
